After being on the waiting list for 2 years, we are delighted to have the opportunity to take you to visit the Queen’s Garden and the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace. Our base for this interesting tour is the Holiday Inn, London-Shepperton Hotel which is set in 11 acres and facing the River Thames. On the outward journey we will visit the Savill Garden, in Windsor Great Park; we will then spend a full day at the Royal Botanic
Gardens at Kew and finally we will make the magical visit to the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace
followed by a tour of the Queen’s Garden
The 4 star HOLIDAY INN HOTEL is situated in 11 acres of quiet grounds on the banks of the River Thames. There is a leisure
Centre with indoor swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi and steam room. There is a restaurant, lounge and bar. All the comfortable
bedrooms are en suite with colour TV, telephone, and tea making facilities. There is also a lift.

Tuesday 31st Aug:
We leave Beetham Nurseries at 8am, for our luxury coach journey to London, arriving early afternoon. We will visit the Savill Garden, one of Britain’s greatest ornamental gardens; it is a place of constant discovery, and of hidden,
interlocking gardens, containing distinctive planting groups.

Wednesday 1st September
: We will enjoy a full day at Kew Gardens, home to the world’s largest and most diverse collection of plants, with over 40,000 species. Kew’s seven magnificent glasshouses, including the Palm House, the world’s most important
Victorian glass and iron structure, display rare and unusual plants from around the world.

Thursday 2nd September:
The day we have all been waiting for! After a leisurely self- guided tour of the State Rooms, with an
opportunity to see the special exhibition, ‘The Queen’s Year’, we will be met by a guide for a Highlights Garden Tour including the Herbaceous Border, the Summer House and the Rose Garden. We will arrive home mid evening.
