Customer Notice on Coronavirus

Dear Customer,

Amid the developing coronavirus situation, we feel it's necessary to reassure you of the actions we are taking as a responsible retailer.

The health of both our customers and staff is our biggest priority. We are closely following the advice of Public Health England to implement a wide variety of measures to minimise the impact to public and staff health.

Cleaning across the garden centre has intensified, with our staff regularly washing and sanitising their hands; staff are maintaining a safe distance when working with customers where possible; our staff have protective gloves to wear should they wish; we’re providing hand sanitisers on entrances to the garden centre and the cafe for customers and at till points for staff. We’ll also be cleaning surfaces and doors regularly and have removed some tables from the cafe to give more space between customers.

Any of our staff who show even mild flu-like or cold symptoms have been advised to follow Government advice surrounding medical care and self-isolation. 

As a precaution we’re cancelling public events this month and will hold off planning further events for the foreseeable future until we know more. However, the garden centre, Garden Cafe and Growing Nursery will remain open as normal until we are advised otherwise. Any customer orders for delivery will also be fulfilled as normal.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow direction given by Government and will take whatever action is necessary to protect the health of our customers and staff. We will keep you updated where necessary. We’d like to thank you for your cooperation.
