Planning & Designing - Making the Most of Your Garden Workshop

Tuesday 9th March 2021

10am - 3pm

£45 per person

This workshop is very practical & aims for you to achieve the very most of your garden site, whatever you may feel it's limitations may be!! Come along and join Marguerite Hughes in learning how to make the most of your garden all year round.

It will include planting & design tips, plant suggestions & plant combinations for challenging spots & how to achieve long term interest in such areas.

There will be lots of practical advice on things such as testing & improving your soil & understanding factors such as aspect. The last 30 minutes of the workshop will allow for summary, round up and Q&A.

All you need to bring with you on the day is a notebook & pen. You will be given handouts relevant to the talks to take home. There will be lots of opportunities during the day to handle the plants & materials referred to during the sessions. This workshop is very interactive and, at any point during the day, you can ask questions relating to your own gardens. Marguerite will demonstrate how to test your soil and plot your garden's aspect so you can do this at home.

Lunch and refreshments included. Please advise of dietary requirements upon booking.

Tickets will be posted out either by Royal Mail First Class post or Parcel Courier with a Christmas branded envelope for you to give to a loved one should it be a gift. You can also opt for Click & Collect free of charge and collect your tickets next time you're in store.

Each workshop ticket doubles as a 10% discount voucher to spend on the day of the workshop. This will be valid across the Garden Centre (please note the voucher will not be valid in The Garden Cafe or The Food Hall) so be sure to make the most of your time here!
