Garden Roses

At Beetham Nurseries, we have a beautiful selection of garden roses for sale nearly twelve months of the year. However, our biggest selection is available in spring, when we have David Austin English Roses, Trevor White Classic & Old-Fashioned Roses and Wharton's Modern Roses (including anniversary varieties). Take a look at our garden centre's roses in more detail here and visit us to see the plants for yourself.

David Austin Roses

David Austin Roses was established in 1961 on the Austin family farm in Shropshire. Today, the majority of growing is still done by hand, as it would have been in the very beginning. Every plant has been hand-budded, a traditional and intricate skill carried out by David Austin experts, millions of times each year. All David Austin roses have a collective style and reflect one man's vision. All have beautiful blooms, and in most cases, wonderful fragrances held on graceful, attractive shrubs. You can find David Austin garden roses for sale both online and in-store at Beetham Nurseries.

Trevor White Roses

Trevor White Roses is a family-run enterprise based in Norfolk. Established in the 1970s, much of the process is the same as when the family first started growing. Producing classic, old fashioned, modern and climbing roses of the highest quality, we are proud to supply Trevor White Roses in-store at Beetham Nurseries.

Whartons Roses

Established in 1947, Whartons Roses was originally set up by John Wharton. The Wharton rose nurseries are now run by his son Robert and grandson Paul in Norfolk. Fast-forward to the present day, Whartons are the UK's largest grower of garden roses, propagating over  1.5 million roses a year and employing 50 full-time staff, many of whom have highly specialist skills. Field production now covers over 60 hectares of land at any time, with three production sites taking the field grown roses through grading, potting and despatch. Our in-store collection of Whartons Roses includes patio roses, anniversary roses, climbing roses and more.
