Botanical Casting Workshop

Join Hannah and her team from Creative Ewe in creating your own unique Bas-relief botanical themed casts. Choose from an assortment of fresh and dried botanicals including blooms from Beetham's own Growing Nursery and combine them with other textures to make your stunning floral creations.

On the day we will be crafting 2 smaller pieces that can be used as beautiful fragrance diffusers and one larger final masterpiece plaque, all of which will be ready to take home at the end of the session. Throughout the workshop we will talk about different methods and techniques for making the final finishing touches to your plaques, and you will get an opportunity to have a go at watercolour painting a pre-made cast.

You will leave the workshop with a goody bag including a detailed booklet containing all you need to know about Bas-relief casting, a watercolour palette set, a file, a stand and a little bottle of your chosen essential oil.

All materials, equipment and PPE included.

The details

This workshop will take place on our Terrace (to the right of The Garden Cafe) in our marquee. It is heated on cooler days, but please wear suitable clothing.

Your ticket price includes tea, coffee, and a sweet treat. 

Seating in the Marquee consists of wooden chairs, so you may wish to bring a cushion for added comfort.

When buying online, your tickets will be emailed to you. You don't need to print the ticket as we will have your booking when we check you in. On arrival at the workshop, you will be given a 10% discount voucher valid for the day of your workshop. So don’t forget to make the most of some shopping time before or after your workshop!

Please note the voucher cannot be used against Garden Furniture, in The Garden Cafe, or The Food Hall.
