The anticipation for this year's Christmas Markets at Beetham Nurseries is building, and we are delighted to announce the artisan makers who will be showcasing their produce in our chalet village.

With live music and festive food and drink, it's the perfect shopping experience for visitors looking for thoughtful and meaningful presents to discover something that little bit special.

From handmade jewellery to unique prints, artisan spirits to handmade ceramics, and everything in between — there's something for everyone on your Christmas shopping list.

Tempered to Taste

Tempered to Taste is a small-batch chocolatier based in Keswick, in the heart of the Lake District. Each handmade chocolate is crafted with high-quality ingredients and finished with vibrant colours for a unique and indulgent experience. Expect beautifully packaged chocolates and truffles, as well as seasonal bars. Hello Rudolph! The perfect gift, stocking filler, or indulgent treat for yourself!

Philippa Whiteside Ceramics

Philippa Whiteside Ceramics creates elegant, handcrafted porcelain pieces made entirely by Philippa herself. Her collection includes delicate flower stems, cone and block vases, droplet wall art, and unique porcelain buttons — all inspired by the beauty and simplicity of nature.

Kimberley Elizabeth Jewellery

Kimberley Elizabeth jewellery is all is designed, handcrafted and carefully hand finished by Kimberley from her workshop along the coast of Morecambe Bay. From everyday pieces to engagement and wedding rings, she believes that jewellery should be meaningful, personal and something that can be treasured forever. Using recycled precious metals wherever possible and 100% recyclable packaging, Kimberley is always looking for more sustainable alternatives and re-evaluating current methods of practice to minimise her impact on the environment.

ApexStrides

Celebrate your love for the outdoors with ApexStrides. We craft hand-made wooden peaks inspired by the Wainwrights, Munros, and Yorkshire Dales, each designed to reflect the unique characteristics of these iconic mountains. Our expanding range is perfect for adventurers looking to commemorate their achievements. Explore our Top Peaks card game, where each card is custom-designed to match the beauty of our wooden peaks. We also offer hand-printed mugs and coasters featuring mountain designs. Based in the North of England, we pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, offering meaningful pieces for those who embrace the challenge of the outdoors.

Raynebow Farm

Raynebow Farm is a family-run smallholding in Cumbria creating handmade goat’s milk soaps using milk from their rare-breed Royal Golden Guernsey and Anglo-Nubian goats. Their palm oil–free soaps are made with natural ingredients and include plain, scented, exfoliating, salt scrub, and felted bars — and they’ll be bringing along some of their friendly goats too!

Raised in the Rain

Raised in the Rain is a kidswear brand showcasing a charming collection of t-shirts and hoodies alongside new locally made knitwear and accessories. Inspired by Cumbria’s famously rainy weather, the name celebrates growing up in the great outdoors — come drizzle or downpour! This year, hand-dyed tote bags for grownups complete the range.

Sue Rowland Artist & Printmaker

Sue's original, illustrative lino prints are inspired by folklore, nature and landscape themes. The designs are intricately carved into the lino plates, then often combined with layers of colour and pattern and printed by hand in her riverside studio in Kentmere, Cumbria. Each print is part of a small edition available framed or unframed, ideal as a gift, or to adorn the walls of your home.
Sue will be also offer textiles, gifts, cards and Christmas cards — all featuring her unique prints.

Sweetpea Ceramics

Sweetpea Ceramics create hand-thrown tableware and delicate jewelry in their studio. Inspired by the landscapes of the Lake District, each piece is made to be held and bring nature into your home.

Lake District Tweed

Lake District Tweed uses wool exclusively from Lake District farms to make beautifully designed tweed and throws. You'll also find woollen hats and accessories from their wool brand Shear Delight, and soap and skincare from The Soap Dairy. All three brands are part of the farm diversification project, Dodgson Wood.

Needle Felt So Good

Creating charming needle-felted art inspired by nature, Needle Felt So Good crafts pictures of animals, Lake District scenes, and more. Their collection also includes needle-felted cards, brooches, bookmarks, and pebble pictures — with bespoke pet commissions available too.

Oakbeck Forge

Oakbeck Forge creates handcrafted ironwork in Cumbria. From keyrings and candle holders to fireside companion sets and personalised gifts, each piece is individually hand-forged, combining traditional craftsmanship with timeless design.

Fika + Fell

Fika & Fell create handmade soy candles, reed diffusers and home-fragrance luxuries inspired by slow living and cosy moments. All poured in small batches by mum and daughter with a neutral, minimal aesthetic.

SippingFox Lake District Drinks

Sipping Fox is a Lake District Company who produce and bottle its own range of 14 artisan spirits. Our production facility is based in Greenodd and we hand blend, hand bottle and even hand forage some of the ingredients that go into our products. Our gin, rum, vodka and moonshine is available in our own two shops situated in Bowness and Greenodd. We hold three Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards for our drinks, as well as an International 2024 Great Taste Award.

Christmas Florals and Wreaths

Contemporary Christmas florals and wreaths, produced using an abundance of seasonal foliage.

Carter's

Bespoke luxury homemade bakes, cakes will be available all weekend at Carter's. Expect brownies, blondies, flapjacks, cookie bars, and more. Plus, Christmas treats like brownie yule log lices!


Beetham Nurseries Christmas Market Weekend will see festive chalets housing fabulous local businesses, delicious food & drink, and plenty of Christmas family fun. Live music across the weekend will bring the festive cheer!

Our Christmas Market Weekend is open on the following dates:

  • Thursday 4th December - 12 noon till 7:30pm
  • Friday 5th December - 10am – 4pm
  • Saturday 6th December - 10am – 4pm
  • Sunday 7th December - 10am – 4pm
