VAN DRIVER / 'HANDY PERSON' 

Full Time / Permanent Position

We are looking for an individual who can cover the dual role of 'Handy Person' and Delivery Driver to join our growing team. 

This role will predominantly include delivery driving throughout the spring & summer, and will include maintenance of grounds and internal offices and the shop floor all year round.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, take pride in their work and have a passion for what they do. Here at Beetham Nurseries, we have exceptionally high standards and this needs to be reflected in all works carried out.

CATERING MANAGER

Full Time / Permanent Position

Do you have what it takes to oversee the day-to-day running of our busy, fast paced and thriving Catering department ? We’re on the look out for someone who can not only inspire and lead our catering team, but who is organised, forward thinking and motivating with a positive can-do attitude. You’ll also have a natural flair for delivering excellent customer service, be great at working in partnership with staff and external suppliers and passionate about continuously delivering high standards in a welcoming and evolving environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of chefs and catering assistants
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day catering operations 
  • Ensuring both food and service provided is of the highest quality; We pride ourselves on offering top quality food and service, and part of your role will be to ensure this is achieved.
  • Achieving good quality within a budget and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction
  • Planning menus in consultation with chefs
  • Ordering supplies
  • Hiring, training, supervising and motivating permanent and temporary staff
  • Organising staff rotas
  • Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are strictly observed, recorded and archived
  • Monitor quality of product and service provided
  • Stick to budgets and maintain financial and administrative records
  • Experience in catering/culinary/hospitality management
