Visual Merchandiser

Full-time, Permanent Position

Do you have a passion for visual merchandising and enjoy working with a wide range of products? We are looking for a creative, organised and driven Visual Merchandiser to work in all indoor areas of our shop.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an independent, family-owned business where visual merchandising plays an important role in shaping the customer experience. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a varied and ever-changing product mix, contribute ideas and help bring our seasonal campaigns and collections to life.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Visual Manager in rolling out the merchandising schedule in a timely and efficient manner to implement creative and inspiring displays 
• Contribute to the store’s strong commercial strategy by ensuring displays are maintained and updated, liaising with the Visual Manager and buyers regarding planning, stock availability and product positioning.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience by upholding store standards and maintaining health and safety regulations throughout every activity
• Contribute to communicating visual merchandising updates/key points to the rest of the team.
• Work across a diverse range of indoor departments, including Home & Gift, Food Hall, seasonal collections and lifestyle products, creating cohesive and inspiring displays that reflect the Beetham Nurseries brand.
• Monitor stock levels and product presentation, working closely with relevant teams to ensure displays remain well stocked, visually strong and commercially effective.
• Be comfortable with the practical and physical aspects of visual merchandising, including moving stock, fixtures and props and regularly refreshing displays.

• A creative, self-motivated and positive team player who is confident using their own initiative
• A strong eye for detail with excellent organisational, creative and commercial skills
• Someone who takes pride in their work and sees projects through from initial idea to completion
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, seasonal retail environment
• An understanding of current trends, customer profiles, the local market and the brands we stock
• Confident communicating ideas and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
• Comfortable with the practical and physical aspects of visual merchandising, including moving stock, fixtures and props
• Experience in a similar visual merchandising or retail role is preferred
