Apple Weekend 2023

Beetham Nurseries Apple Weekend

Apple Weekend is back for 2023, and this year is going to be bigger and fruitier than ever before! Now across three days, our annual free, family event, celebrating the nation’s favourite fruit, is one of the most popular events of the year here at Beetham Nurseries and this year will be no different!

Offering a weekend crammed full of fruit and apple trees, fruit pressing, family fun, live music — as well as our exciting collaboration with Kendal Farmers Market — we will be bringing you some of the most delicious, local artisan produce that Cumbria has to offer!

Apples & Fruit Trees - There will be fruit and apple trees for sale, a large variety of loose apples available to buy, a fruit press in use to have your own apples pressed into juice, an apple expert to help identify your own apples and even win an apple tree of your own!

Family fun - Join us for children's crafting, take part in the fairy hunt treasure trail, create a masterpiece as part of our colouring competition, and enjoy live music on The Terrace across the weekend!

Food & Drink - Enjoy our extra special fruit-themed menu in The Garden Cafe this Apple Weekend or why not join us in The Wood Fired Kitchen for some Neapolitan Pizza! Brand new for 2023, we are delighted to announce we are collaborating with Kendal Farmers Market, we will be welcoming local artisan traders who will be selling their own incredible produce!

We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a wonderful, FREE family event this October!
