Hydrangea Masterclass
An informative & practical workshop, with renowned horticulturalist Marguerite Hughes, where you will discover everything you need to know about Hydrangeas including - the different species such as Lacecaps, Mopheads, Paniculatas, Arborescens, Asperas & recommended varieties for your garden including how to grow a range of species to achieve interest through many seasons. Planting & growing techniques including choosing the right site in your garden. Aftercare, propagation, pruning & top planting combinations with hydrangeas is all covered in this plant masterclass.
The last 30 minutes of the session will allow for summary, round up & Q&A.
All you need to bring with you on the day is a notebook & pen. You will be given handouts relevant to the workshop to take home. There will be lots of opportunities during the day to handle materials referred to during the sessions. The workshop is very interactive & there will be regular intervals where you can ask questions about the topics explored in the workshop & how they relate to your garden.
The details
This workshop will take place on our Terrace (to the right of The Garden Cafe) in our marquee. It is heated on cooler days, but please wear suitable clothing.
Your ticket price includes tea, coffee, and a sweet treat.
Seating in the Marquee consists of wooden chairs, so you may wish to bring a cushion for added comfort.
