The Workshop
Join Emma and Ginny for this very special workshop, bringing floristry and photography together in this unique and creative event here at Beetham Nurseries.
During this special workshop, Emma takes you through the process of making your own bouquet. Meanwhile, Ginny introduces you to some top phone photography tips using the flowers, foliage and gorgeous surroundings as your subjects.
You'll come away with a beautiful bouquet to keep for yourself or give as a gift, and a phone full of creative, impactful photographs. Hopefully you'll also leave feeling relaxed and that you've done something a little bit different!
Emma Dyer is a florist and flower grower based in Garstang. Her business is 'Bloom and Grow'. Ginny Koppenhol is a portrait photographer based near Lancaster.
The Details
This workshop will take place on our Terrace (to the right of The Garden Cafe) in our Marquee. Please wear suitable clothing, although it is heated on cooler days. Your ticket price includes hot & cold drinks, a freshly prepared lunch and home-baked sweet treats. Seating in the Marquee is metal chairs or benches, so you may wish to bring a cushion to sit on.
Equipment needed:
- Please bring your own gloves and secateurs if you have them.
- If you haven't already, please ensure you download the free app Snapseed prior to the workshop, as this will be used throughout. (If you have any issues with this, please don't worry as Ginny will help you tomorrow!).
- As part of the workshop, you will be going outside to The Growing Nursery for some of the session, so please bring/wear suitable footwear and layers in case it's cool.

On arrival at the workshop, you will be given a ticket which acts as a 10% voucher whilst you’re here with us on the day of your workshop. So don’t forget to make the most of some shopping time before or after your workshop!
Please note the voucher cannot be used against Garden Furniture, in The Garden Cafe, or The Food Hall.
