Come along to Beetham Nurseries for a fascinating talk all about foraging! Jordan from Wild Food UK will explore the rich natural larder of South Cumbria. Taking place in our heated marquee, this free* event is an opportunity to learn the essentials of foraging safely and responsibly, how to identify common edible plants and mushrooms, and how to avoid the dangerous lookalikes. We’ll delve into the mysterious life of mushrooms—how they grow, where to find them, and what makes them so unique.

To top it all off, enjoy a live food demo showcasing how you can turn your foraged finds into simple, delicious dishes.
