The Workshop
A fun, interesting and practical smartphone photography workshop facilitated by local photographer, Ginny Koppenhol.
The session is perfect for beginners, but even if you know your way around your phone camera, you can still further your photography knowledge and gain creative inspiration.
In this half-day workshop, you will learn tons of tips and techniques allowing you to create stunning images using your phone. This workshop covers:
- the basics of phone photography
- an editing intro using the fantastic free app, Snapseed (please download this before the workshop)
- additional fun creative techniques which will open up yet more possibilities
This course is ideal if you want to create better images using your phone. Maybe you want great photos of your family and friends, the stunning landscapes you see whilst walking, or perhaps you're a small business owner wanting to show off your products or services.

The Details
This workshop will take place on our Terrace (to the right of The Garden Cafe) in our Marquee. Please wear suitable clothing, although it is heated on cooler days. Your ticket price includes tea, coffee, and a home-baked sweet treat. Seating in the Marquee is metal chairs or benches, so you may wish to bring a cushion to sit on.

When buying online, your tickets will be emailed to you, which you do not need to print prior to arrival. On arrival at the workshop, you will be given a ticket which acts as a 10% voucher whilst you’re here with us on the day of your workshop. So don’t forget to make the most of some shopping time before or after your workshop!
Please note the voucher cannot be used against Garden Furniture, in The Garden Cafe, or The Food Hall.
