This month we've chosen the genus Echinacea.See More
They look perfect displayed in a terracotta pot with little else or incorporated into an existing garden design. They're well suited to the English climate because of their frost and disease resistance and they require very little maintenance over winter.
If you've ever considered having an olive tree then we highly recommend the Olea Europaea 'Pom Pom', they're elegant, perfectly formed and full of character. Add a timeless showpiece to your garden. If we have a hot summer, you may even benefit from some fruit.
Growth and habitat: Extremely slow growth, moderately hardy and loves sun. Place in a South or West facing garden.
Care: don't allow soil to fully dry out - if grown in containers then they will need regular feeding and watering. Feed every month during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser, such as phostrogen. In early spring, remove dead leaves and branches but don't prune too hard, thin out branches that block light to the centre of the tree.
Height: 300cm (approx)
Trunk girth: 55cm (approx)
We also have a selection of smaller olive trees (standards) up to a metre high.
Price: From £29.99
